A coating material is provided which is for providing a coating film having improved wearing resistance and a satisfactory dependence of haze on visible-light incidence angle. The coating material, which is for forming a coating film having a dependence of haze on visible-light incidence angle, comprises a high-refractive-index urethane acrylate and a low-refractive-index urethane acrylate which are curable with ultraviolet rays, a compound (1) represented by general formula [1], and a compound (2) represented by general formula [2]. The high-refractive-index urethane acrylate and the low-refractive-index urethane acrylate each has one or more acryloyl groups at each end of the backbone. At least one member selected from the group consisting of the high-refractive-index urethane acrylate and the low-refractive-index urethane acrylate has two or more acryloyl groups at at least one of the molecular ends of the backbone. The urethane acrylates, the compound (1), and the compound (2) are contained in amounts of 30-98.5 mass%, 0.25-2.5 mass%, and 0.25-2.5 mass%, respectively.
