Bias control methods and systems for plurality of MZ modulators in optical transmission network are disclosed, wherein one method comprises: applying only one low frequency disturbing signal at one time on the main service optical signal, to realize bias control to only one MZ modulator at one time. Another method comprises: receiving multiple low frequency disturbing signals, controlling the said multiple low frequency disturbing signals, applying only one of the multiple low frequency disturbing signals at one time to the main service optical signal, and carrying out bias control, based on the said low frequency disturbing signal added to the main service optical signal, to the MZ modulator corresponding to the said low frequency disturbing signal. These said methods could efficiently restrain the impact on the main service optical signal in the optical link and reduce the power penalty of the system, while realizing bias voltage control.
