In order to effectively use the functions of insulating particles, they are required to be formed in the form of a regular film thickness and in arbitrarily patterned shapes. However, there was not the idea that they were used to accumulate them for each single layer and form the patterned film of the regular thickness at a particle size level. The patterned single layer insulating particle film, characterized in that the film of the insulating particles which is selectively formed in one layer on a substrate surface is covalently bonded to each other through a first organic film selectively formed on the substrate surface and a second organic film formed on an insulating particle surface, and a patterned single layer insulating particle film characterized in that those organic films are different from each other are formed.
