Method for operating drive system for e.g. hybrid vehicle, involves controlling engine such that transient emissions are maintained within preset tolerance range, and switching-on electrical-motor generator during acceleration process
The method involves coupling an electrical-motor generator (3) with a crankshaft of a diesel internal-combustion engine (2), and assigning an energy storage to the electrical-motor generator. The internal-combustion engine is designed for medium pressure between 25 bar and 35 bar and controlled during an acceleration process of the engine such that the transient emissions are maintained within a tolerance range of 30 percentage of stationary emissions, which are measured in a preset operating point. The electrical-motor generator is switched-on during an acceleration process. An independent claim is also included for a drive system including an internal-combustion engine.
