Disclosed is a compound (1) of several profiled elements (2.1-2.4), in which the profiled elements (2.1-2.4) are arranged parallel to each other in a longitudinal direction (z). Said profiled elements (2.1-2.4) are interconnected by means of two joining elements (4.1, 4.2) that are spaced apart in the longitudinal direction (z). The profiled elements (2.1-2.4) are spaced apart in such a way that longitudinal grooves (3.1-3.4) extend therebetween. The joining elements (4.1, 4.2) comprise joining means for creating a clamping connection between the profiled elements (2.1-2.4) and the respective joining element (4.1, 4.2), and spacing means for maintaining a well defined mutual distance between the profiled elements (2.1-2.4). The profile compound (1) can be universally used, can be made of any materials, and allows additional profile compounds or other components to be positioned in a continuous manner in the longitudinal direction (z).
