The invention relates to the rolling, namely to the designs of housingless mill stands. A housingless mill stand of cantilever type is nondriven and contains a frame with straight borings, in which units of working rolls are installed on the bearing supports, each of unit is made in the form of an axle, on one rear section of which a working roll in the form of a bandage is installed. The device of positioning the units of working rolls is made in the form of hollow eccentric bushings one per unit, on which in appropriate straight borings the axles of the units of working rolls with bearing supports are installed. The internal surface of each bushing contacts with the bearing support of corresponding unit of working rolls, and external surface - with corresponding straight boring. The device also contains the means of radial position control of working rolls made in the form of a worm-toothed reducer, and the means of fastening of working rolls on the axle made in the form of collet clamps. The invention provides for reduction of intervals in manufacturing process of continuous flat-and-edge rolling, increase of rolling output, control of manufacturing process and state of stand equipment at its use.
