Method for determination of water deficit of plant leaves relates to area of investigation of materials through determination of physical properties of those, in particular fluorescence of native chlorophyll, induced by light and thermoinduction ones. The method can be used in irrigation agriculture, selection work and in plant growing. The method is in measuring specific characteristics of fluorescence of induction - maximaland stationaryand peakof wave of thermo-induction, and water coefficient is determined by formulaWhere- optimal value of deficit of humidity of leaf;- stationary fluorescence at D;,- coefficients of correlation between deficit of moisture and signals of stationary fluorescence Fand peak of fluorescence of thermo-induction F.
