Package for smoking articles e.g. cigar, has closing portion abutting against circumferential edge, and neck element provided along part of circumferential edge, where closing portion and neck element form part of blank to assemble package
The package has a container portion (1a) with a central part and an upright circumferential edge (1a1) that forms an opening for introducing smoking articles into the portion. A closing portion (1b) has a central part and an upright circumferential wall (1b1). A strip-shaped neck element (1c) is provided along part of the circumferential edge of the portion (1a). The closing portion abuts against the edge of the portion (1a) with the circumferential edge in the position (1b) of the package, where the portion (1b) and the element form part of a blank to assemble the package.
