The present invention consists in the design and implementation of a system for positioning the fingers of the hand, which is applied in the treatment of visual-hearing processing disorders and which is based on the measurement of the position of the fingers of the hand using devices know as flexion sensors. Said sensors are mounted over a glove where metallic sheets are included so as to act as contact sensors between the ring finger, index finger and middle finger, and between the fingernail and the fingertip since some characters require to detect the joint between some fingers. The data obtained from the glove is acquired and processed by a data acquisition card using a software, where the system allows an image corresponding to the symbol, represented by the position of the fingers, and the symbol meaning to be displayed in a screen, thereby allowing the invention to be used by people having hearing or speaking disorders or by those being interested in learning the sign language for deaf and dumb people.
