This invention relates to an improved method for controlling the final predefined superheat outlet steam temperature and the final predefined heat outlet steam temperature in a steam generation plant (2) , having a furnace volume (4) embodying at least superheat surface, a multichambered backpass volume (12) embodying at least superheat surface (34) within one chamber (12a) of the multichambered backpaes volume (12) and at least reheat surface (36) within another one (12b) of the multichambered backpass volume (12), a first circulatory fluid flow path (100a) operative as an evaporative steam loop (4Ø,42,4a,44,4Ø), and a second circulatory fluid flow path (100b) operative as a superheat steam-reheat steam loop and including a saturated steam segment (46,12c,12g,12e,12f,12h ,86) T a superheat steam segment (34a,88,48,88',34,9Ø,5Ø,52,48a,52'), a reheat steam segment (36,54,6Ø,62) and an economizer segment (7Ø,72,8Ø,82,38a,38b,84,4Ø).
