PEPTIDE 2 ANALOG GLUCAGON TYPE (GLP-2) OR A PHARMACEUTICALLY ACCEPTABLE SALT OR DERIVATIVE THEREOF, PHARMACEUTICAL COMPOSITION, USE OF A GLP-2 ANALOGUE, NUCLEIC ACID MOLECULA, VECTOR PRODUCE CELL GLP-2 ANALOGUE, USE OF A NUCLEIC ACID MOLECULE, EXPRESSION VECTOR OR HOST CELL, METHODS FOR TREATMENT OF A DISTURBATION IN A PATIENT, FOR COLLECTION OR PREVENIATE PREVENTION OR RADIATION THERAPY FOR A PATIENT AND FOR TREATMENT OF NEONAL DISORDERS, OBESITY, OSTEOPOROSIS, OR CONDITIONS MEDIATED BY DPP-IV, AND, THERAPEUTIC KIT. GLP-2 analogs are disclosed which comprise one or more substitutions as compared to [hGly2] GLP-2 and which exhibit improved and in vivo biological activity. or improved chemical stability, for example when evaluated in vitro stability tests. More particularly, the preferred GLP-2 analogs set forth herein comprise substitutions at one or more wild type GLP-2 sequence positions 8, 16, 24 and / or 28, optionally in combination with other substitutions in the position 2 (as mentioned in the introduction) and at one or more of positions 3, 5, 7, 10 and 11, i or a deletion of one or more of amino acids 31 to 33 and! or the addition of an N-terminal or C-terminal stabilization peptide sequence. The analogues are particularly useful for the prophylaxis or treatment of stomach and bowel-related disorders and for improving the side effects of chemotherapy.
