OUT-OF-CIRCUIT DERIVATION VARIATOR WITH ACTING MECHANISM FOR ELECTRICAL TRANSFORMERS. An out-of-circuit shunt drive (10, 20) with actuating mechanism for electrical transformers of the type comprising a structure including at least two elongate bars (11) to which a series of stud-type fixed contacts (12) are integrally connected, arranged orthogonally in series, and a set of movable friction block contacts (14) which slide over the fixed contacts (12) thanks to the actuation of a worm screw (23); a nut thread is fitted or formed to the end of a coaxial insulating tube (27) with and outside the worm screw (23) so that the movable contact assembly (14) is secured by a shaped adapter ( 28) at the end of the insulating tube (27) opposite the nut thread. In this way the nut thread is in a different position from that of the movable contact assembly (14) with respect to the overall length of the shunt variator (10, 20) allowing the use of movable contacts (14) not restricted by the tube dimensions ( 27) and / or worm screw (23).
