PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for easily calculating an eigen value of an unitary matrix.;SOLUTION: An Hermitian matrix calculating part 11 is inputted with the unitary matrix and calculates the Hermitian matrix being the sum of the unitary matrix and its conjugate transpose matrix. The Hermitian matrix is inputted to an Hermitian matrix eigen value calculating part 12, so as to calculate the eigen value of the Hermitian matrix. The eigen value of the Hermitian matrix is inputted to a list generating part 13 and multiplied by a constant number. The arithmetic result is outputted. The procedure is applied to the unitary matrix U of an eigen value calculation object or the unitary matrix generated based on it. Thus, information for specifying the real part, imaginary part, and superimposition degree of the eigen value of the unitary matrix U is acquired, so as to obtain the eigen value of the unitary matrix U.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
