PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the replication of HCV by using siRNA.;SOLUTION: The double-stranded oligonucleotide is composed of an oligonucleotide expressed by formula (I): 5'-S-O1-3' (S is an uninterrupted RNA sequence having a base number of 10-50 and containing the 82nd, 189th, 286th or 331st site in a specific base sequence; O1 is a DNA sequence having a base number of 1-10; 5' means the 5' terminal; and 3' means the 3' terminal) and an oligonucleotide expressed by formula (II): 3'-O2-A-5' (A is an RNA sequence having a base number of 10-30 and complementary to the S; O2 is a DNA sequence having a base number of 1-10; 5' means the 5' terminal; and 3' means the 3' terminal).;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
