PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multipath detection method in a GPS receiving apparatus and a navigation system using the same allowing high-precision position detection.;SOLUTION: The GPS receiving apparatus 10 comprises a variable directional antenna 12 capable of forming a null point in at least one direction, a null point setting section 20 which sets a null point P0 of the variable directional antenna 12 in the direction of a GPS satellite capable of positioning, and a multipath determination section 18 which determines whether a receiving signal from the variable directional antenna 12 is in the state of multipath.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
