PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-quality mold for a golf ball and a golf ball manufacturing method.;SOLUTION: This mold is provided with a spherical cavity, a support pin which can be moved to and from the cavity and a bent pin 8. The bent pin 8 is provided with two slits S, an annular groove 20 and a vertical groove 22. The upper end 24 of the slit S is opened to the cavity and the lower end 26 of the slit S is opened to the annular groove 20. The annular groove 20 is connected with the vertical groove 22 and the lower end of the vertical groove 22 is opened to the atmosphere. It is preferable that the width W of the slit S is ≥ 1μm, further ≥ 3μm, and especially ≥5 μm. It is preferable that the depth D of the slit S is ≥10% of a diameter ϕ, further ≥15%, and especially ≥20%.
