PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus which can firmly, efficiently solder a tab lead to a solar battery cell and its method.;SOLUTION: The apparatus which solders the tub lead t on the surface and the back of the solar battery cell c includes first pressing mechanisms 51A, 51B which press the tab lead t on the surface of the solar battery cell c, second pressing mechanisms 52A, 52B which press the tab lead t on the back of the solar battery cell c, and heating mechanisms 53A, 53B to heat the tab leads t pressed by the first pressing mechanisms 51A, 51B or the second pressing mechanisms 52A, 52B. The first pressing mechanisms 51A, 51B and the second pressing mechanisms 52A, 52B have a plurality of contacting members 60, 70, which abut against the tab leads t on the solar battery cell c, arranged along the tab leads t.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
