PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermosetting resin composition, a light emitting diode with its light emitting element encapsulated by the same, and a color conversion type light emitting diode encapsulated by the same, excellent in hardening ability and in adhesiveness, high in light resistance and in heat resistance, with the light emitting surfaces not to be stained by foreign matters or damaged by mounting tools during the installation process.;SOLUTION: The thermosetting resin composition essentially contains (A) a silsesquioxane derivative having two or more reactive cyclic ether groups per reaction unit, (B) an organosilicone derivative having two or more reactive cyclic ether groups per reaction unit, and (C) an acid anhydride having no carbon-carbon double bond or a cationic thermosetting agent.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
