PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of steel coil or bar with excellent surface quality, which can prevent occurrence of scratches during uncoiling at a supply stand, can avoid deterioration of descaling characteristics at shot-blasting, can provide defect assurance at the criterion of 5/100 mm in depth; and further can secure a high productivity by preventing troubles of the shot-blasting machine.;SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method of coil or bar, the steel coil material 1 is loaded and uncoiled on the supply stand 3, then subjected to descaling 4 by shot-blasting, wire-drawing and eddy-current test 5.
