PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable method for detecting prostatic cancer and method for judging possibility of postoperative recurrence of prostatic cancer and to provide a new molecular target treatment and prophylactic method substantially different in mechanism from the conventionally known therapeutic agent for prostatic cancer.;SOLUTION: The method for detecting prostatic cancer and method for judging possibility of postoperative recurrence of prostatic cancer includes measurement of TFG gene expression in the prostate cell.
