PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carbon fiber bundle and chopped carbon fiber bundle for fiber reinforced resins expressing high conductivity and to provide a carbon fiber reinforced resin composition that has chopped fiber bundle, sufficient conductivity and mechanical strength.;SOLUTION: The carbon fiber bundle for carbon fiber reinforced resin comprises monofilaments having wrinkles elongating along the longitudinal direction on the fiber surface, and the filaments having a difference between peak and valley of ≥40nm in circumference length in the range of 2 μm and major radius/minor radius ratio of cross section of 1.03-1.10, and the basis weight of the filament is 0.015-0.050mg/m, and ≥4,600MPa of strand strength and 200-340GPa of strand modulus. The carbon fiber reinforced resin composition comprises chopped carbon fiber bundle with basis weight of 0.15-5g/m, cut length of 1-50mm, width/thickness ratio of 2-10 of chopped carbon fiber bundle with flat cross section, and the resin contains 5-40mass.% of chopped fiber bundles to a matrix resin.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
