METHOD FOR DESIGNING FEEDFORWARD CONTROL CIRCUIT FOR CONTROLLING POSITIONING OF MAGNETIC HEAD IN MAGNETIC DISK DRIVE, MAGNETIC DISK DRIVE HAVING FEEDFORWARD CONTROL CIRCUIT DESIGNED BY THE METHOD, AND FEEDFORWARD CONTROL CIRCUIT DESIGNED BY THE METHOD
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a configuration capable of controlling positioning of a magnetic head in a magnetic disk drive capable of effectively reducing the influence of disk fluttering.;SOLUTION: The vibration of the magnetic disk is measured in the rotated state of the magnetic disk. From the spectrum of the measured vibration, a flutter frequency that is the frequency of a vibration caused by magnetic disk fluttering is obtained. A filter is designed for each flutter frequency having a peak of a gain for each of flutter frequencies. The feedforward control circuit for controlling positioning of the magnetic head is obtained by combining filters designed for the respective flutter frequencies.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
