PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a patient's head fixing device which is used for a medical/dental X-ray imaging apparatus, positions and fixes a patient's head more reliably, and is excellent in operability, and to provide a medical/dental X-ray imaging apparatus using the same.;SOLUTION: The patient's head fixing device 9 includes a supporting part 10, a pair of temporal part pressing parts 11, 11 provided on the supporting part 10 for pressing both temporal parts of the patient P, an actuation mechanism part 16 for activating the temporal part pressing parts 11, 11 to press against the temporal parts of the patient P and to cancel the pressing, a biasing means 17 for biasing the actuation mechanism part 16 in the pressing direction, and an operational part 19 for operating the actuation mechanism part 16 in the direction of canceling the pressing to act against the biasing force of the biasing means 17.
