PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a polyaniline doped with a metal phosphate, the polyaniline having excellent antirust performance by using the metal phosphate as a rust preventive additive, and to provide the polyaniline doped with the metal phosphate obtained by the method, a polyaniline-containing solution doped with the metal phosphate, and a coating material containing the polyaniline doped with the metal phosphate, the coating material excellent in rust preventing performance. PSOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the polyaniline doped with the metal phosphate includes: a step of preparing an aniline mixture solution by adding a surfactant, water, a water-soluble protonic acid, a metal phosphate and at least one kind of aniline and aniline derivatives into an organic solvent not miscible with water; and a step of polymerizing at least one of the aniline and the aniline derivatives by adding a polymerization initiator to the aniline mixed solution. The present invention also provides a polyaniline doped with a metal phosphate obtained by the above method, a solution containing a polyaniline doped with a metal phosphate, and a coating material containing a polyaniline doped with a metal phosphate.
