PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a design value optimization technique which has a plurality of design values and designs a product that simultaneously satisfies a plurality of performance under a plurality of use conditions.;SOLUTION: A plurality of (n) parameters for determining performance of a product system are divided into a plurality of (i) control factors Mi and a plurality of (j) error factors Nj, the control factors are assigned to an inside orthogonal array Lq, the error factors are assigned to an outside orthogonal array Lr, a plurality of (m) request items Dm are evaluated, the total sum of an information amount related to (m) is obtained, and variation of the total information amount related to the number (r) of outside orthogonal array items is derived.
