PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a genealogy image creating device for enabling a user to easily obtain the genealogy of his or her desired range. PSOLUTION: This genealogy image creating device includes: a genealogy image information storage part 11 in which genealogy information as information showing at least the parentage of a person is stored; a genealogy image creating part 13 for generating the image of a genealogy by using the genealogy information; a genealogy image output part 14 for outputting a genealogy image generated by the genealogy image creating part 13; and a selection acceptance part 15 for accepting the selection of any person displayed on the genealogy image output by the genealogy image output part 14. When the selection is accepted by the selection acceptance part 15, the genealogy image generation part 13 creates a genealogy image with the person selected by the selection as a route.
