PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide self-ballasted fluorescent lamp preventing crack of a tubule due to stress, while securing manufacturing properties.;SOLUTION: A tubule for exhaustion 36 is formed equipped with an exhaust-side suctioning part 36b suctioned toward a base end side by occluding a tip side of the tubule after exhausting air in an arc tube. An amalgam tubule 37 is formed equipped with an amalgam-side suctioning part 37b suctioned toward a base end side by occluding a tip side of the tubule after exhausting air in the arc tube. By restraining a ratio difference in a thickness at the tip side of each tubule 36, 37, generation of cracks at each tubule 36, 37 can be restrained by stress caused by the ratio difference in the thickness. By diffusing and sealing a main amalgam 39 in an amalgam-side suctioning part 37b of the amalgam tubule 37, a need of separately applying a deformation process on the amalgam tubule 37 is done away with for regulating movement of the main amalgam to secure the manufacturing properties.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
