PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring instrument for strength of physical activity which changes display sensitivity depending of situations. PSOLUTION: The measuring instrument for strength of physical activity has: a detecting means for detecting body movements; a recording means for calculating the strength of physical activity every unit time on the basis of the detection result of the detection means and recording the calculated strength to a storage part; a determining means for determining a time used for calculating the display strength referring to the strength recorded during a prescribed period of time gone back to the point of time when the strength is recorded; and a display means for calculating display strength from the time determined by the determining means and the strength recorded during that period of time and displaying the calculated display strength on a display part.
