PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent breakage of a connection type header, without degrading the turning performance of a joint.;SOLUTION: A header reinforcement member 10 is made of a metallic plate or the like, and is provided with a reinforcement part 42 supporting a lower face of the connection type header 12 and stretched over a connection part 41 between a header base 14 and a header base 14. The reinforcement part 42 is integrally provided with an extension part 44 having an insertion port 46 in which a branch pipe connection part 18 can penetrate. Since the header reinforcement member is installed to the connection type header 12 for reinforcement, and bending of the connection type header 12 is suppressed by the header reinforcement member 10 even if the connection type header 12 is stepped on. Therefore, stress concentration on the connection part 41 of the header base 14 is suppressed and the breakage of the connection type header 12 can be prevented.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
