PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temperature sensor rationality diagnosing device correctly diagnosing rationality of a temperature sensor at a desired timing. PSOLUTION: This temperature sensor rationality diagnosing device diagnosing the rationality of the temperature sensor provided in a storage tank is provided in an exhaust emission control device for an internal combustion engine, supplying an additive agent in the storage tank to an exhaust pipe upstream of a reduction catalyst and selectively reducing and converting NOx in exhaust gas by the reduction catalyst. The temperature sensor rationality diagnostic device includes: an additive agent heat capacity calculation section calculating heat capacity of the additive agent in the storage tank; a heat quantity increase/decrease calculation section calculating an increase or a decrease in heat quantity received by the additive agent in the storage tank; and a rationality diagnosing section determining the rationality of the temperature sensor by comparing transition of estimated temperature of the additive agent estimated from the heat capacity of the additive agent and the increase or decrease in the heat quantity with transition of sensor temperature of the additive agent detected by the temperature sensor.
