PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for checking on occupancy at a disaster and a system for providing information at a disaster that can quickly notify the status of occupancy to the neighborhood at a disaster and can provide various useful information in the disaster.;SOLUTION: The system for checking on occupancy at a disaster comprises a power line carrier communication means (information transmission parts 30a-h) for establishing communication via power lines D, a determination means (occupancy status determination part 102) for determining the status of resident occupancy according to information about residents in a house notified via the power line carrier communication means, a notification means (information transmission parts 30a-h) for notifying the determination results of resident occupancy status by the determination means to a preset location via the power line carrier communication means in accordance with information about a disaster, and an output means (printing part 101) for outputting the determination results of resident occupancy status in a predetermined format in response to the notification from the notification means.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
