Orthopedic apparatus for lower-limb handicapped person, has connection elements that undergo wide range of movement independent of support element to assure partial disassociation of balancing function and dimension of perimeter of base
The apparatus has a body support element including three articulated sub-assemblies movable with respect to a base (s) corresponding to a trunk (m), thighs (o) and legs (q). The element has a functional control e.g. wheel brake or seat height blocking control, that is remote-controlled from connection elements e.g. forearm crutch, between upper limbs of a user and a floor. The connection elements undergo a wide range of movement independent of the support element to assure a partial disassociation of balancing function and dimension of perimeter of the base.
