摘要

The method involves estimating in real time damaging level of a stressed component and evolution rate of the damage based on utilization time or number of traveled kilometers. A preset maintenance alert is emitted or an engine power reduction strategy is applied when the damaging level or the evolution rate attains a limited value. The strategy is applied for limiting progression of the damage to assure a life time for the component coherent with preset reliability objectives. An independent claim is also included for a device for continuously controlling mechanical reliability of components.
