Seat assembly for motor vehicle, has transmission system to control rotation of rod, and with arm to move slide in groove of lever for rotating rod, where system has reduced encumbrance for allowing complete retraction of seat in housing
The assembly has a seat (2) with a backrest (4) movable between a utilization position of the seat and a retracted position in which the seat is folded in a housing in a floor pan. The seat has a connecting rod (12) mounted rotatably around a rotating axis relative to a flange (5). An intermediate transmission system between a reducer (23) and the rod controls the rotation of the rod. The system has reduced encumbrance for allowing complete retraction of the seat in the housing, and an actuating arm (22) to move a slide (18) in a longitudinal groove (16) of a lever (14) for rotating the rod.
