The method involves defining a system of coupled equations including for each of electrically conductive elements (14), thermal and electrical equations describing a time variation respectively of the thermal and electrical behaviors of each conductive element. The system of coupled equations is resolved to obtain, for each conductive element, a temperature of the conductive element at a given time. An independent claim is also included for an electric network dimensioning method.
