摘要

Use of a cosmetic composition comprising a hydrolysable tannin enriched active ingredient for treating and/or preventing dandruff, is claimed. Independent claims are included for: (1) a process for obtaining an anti-dandruff cosmetically active ingredient comprising solubilizing Punica granatum in a hydroglycolic medium, separating the soluble and insoluble phases, adding an alkaline agent, concentrating the active fraction containing hydrolysable tannin, and filtrating and/or sterilizing filtrating; and (2) an anti-dandruff active ingredient obtained by the process having a dry solid rate of 20-160 g/l, a pH of 3-8 and total polyphenol content of 6-47 g/l.
