Motor vehicle e.g. automobile, speed limiting system for automobile field, has unit limiting speed of vehicle to variable set speed which is determined by controller from electrical signals of sensor that senses attitude of end of vehicle
The system has a speed limiting unit (14) for limiting the speed of a motor vehicle to a variable set speed, which is determined by a controller (13), embarked in the vehicle, from electrical signals of a vehicle attitude sensor (20) that senses the attitude of a rear end of the vehicle, where the signals are representative of mass or payload of the vehicle. The sensor corrects the orientation of a headlight (22) of the vehicle. The controller is associated to a drive train (10) of the vehicle, and determines the set speed from electrical signals of a vertical acceleration sensor (30).
