Aircraft`s e.g. airbus A320 type civil transport aircraft, control information e.g. commanded roll, monitoring device, has alerting system generating signal when difference between control information is higher than preset threshold value
The device (1) has an external computer (9) e.g. flight warning computer, placed external to flight management systems, and a comparing unit (10) including an element for calculating differences between control information e.g. commanded roll, received from the respective systems. The unit (10) has another element for comparing the difference with a predetermined threshold value. An alerting system (12) is connected to the computer by a link (13) and generates an alert signal when one of the differences is higher than the threshold value.
