Digital cartographic data stream transmission method, involves transmitting peri-data relative to complexification processing of data to user to generate specified set of cartographic data corresponding to resolution level
The method involves transmitting a set of cartographic data corresponding to a resolution level to a user, and restoring the cartographic data to the user. Peri-data relative to complexification processing of the data are generated to the user for generating a specified set of cartographic data corresponding to another resolution level. The specified set of cartographic data are restored to the user, and the transmitting, generating and restoring steps are repeated as long as determined criteria are not satisfied. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a computer program product comprising code instructions for transmitting a cartographic data stream transmission method (2) a device for receiving a cartographic data stream (3) a computer program product comprising instructions for receiving a cartographic data stream.
