Program data recording device, has editing unit removing determined section from combined title and closing removed section when user determines section, which is cut from combined title
The device (1) has a recording controller (14) for recording program data for two time periods under corresponding titles. A combination unit (15) combines the title to form a tile, and identifies identical configuration management (CM) sections in the program data, which are redundantly recorded under the two titles. An editing unit (16) identifies a CM section of the combined title, and removes a determined section from the combined title and closes the removed section when a user determines a section, which is cut from the combined title. An independent claim is also included for a method for recording time of program data.
