A consequent saving of hvac - a system for a passenger cabin of a road vehicle, which has a controllable air conditioning system, for directing a cooled air flow through the passenger car. A controllable heating system transmits a heated air flow through the passenger car. A user control panel comprises user input devices for manually selecting of the operating parameters of the stands - system, wherein one of the user input devices by a subscriber has from selector. A control is operatively connected to the air conditioning system, the heating system and the user control panel. The control controls on normal manner, the air conditioning system or the heating system in accordance with manually selected operating parameters and, via is true, in response to a user, which selects manually to the economic mode, the manually selected operating parameters and controls the air conditioning system or the heating system on a preselected energy par level in response to the selected inventive.
