The device (100) has a light-projection unit (110) comprising a projector (114) and a lenticular plate (112). A cylindrical lens arrangement is formed on a surface of the plate, and a light-receiving unit (120) has a light receiver (124) and a circuit board. The light-projection unit and the light-receiving unit are arranged adjacent to one another in an integrated manner, such that the light receiver detects light reflected by an object and projected over the plate and the projector.
