The display and operating unit displays the status of values for temperature, air feed and air speed automatically set by the air conditioning system in three air conditioning cells of a person symbol (1) and a seat symbol (2) divided into two regions, i.e. seat and seat back. Individual variations can be detected and displayed in three pointers pointing at the air conditioning cells.
