User specific services e.g. hotel address, providing system, has detecting unit attached to mobile unit of subscriber, and server providing user specific services based on subscriber profile data, time data and local data
The system (1) has a detecting unit (5) attached to a mobile unit (4) e.g. mobile phone, of a subscriber (2), and transferring time data and position data of the mobile unit, after activation of the detecting unit, in a XML language to a server (3) over a wireless interface. The server provides user specific services based on subscriber profile data of the respective subscriber and the time and local data. The detecting unit has a target identifier and a switch for manual activation/deactivation of the mobile unit. An independent claim is also included for a method for providing user specific services for subscribers.
