Motor control current controlling method, involves limiting output level of drive unit for coil corresponding to signal from sensor by controller, where controller has pulse width modulation input for pulse width modulation signal
The method involves delivering an output level to a coil (10) by a drive unit (20) for controlling a motor. A sensor (40) detects a position of a motor rotor and produces a corresponding signal. A controller (30) identifies an operating condition of the motor by receiving the signal from the sensor. The controller limits the output level of the drive unit for the coil corresponding to the signal from the sensor. The controller has a pulse width modulation input (31) for the pulse width modulation signal.
