Filling apparatus for motor vehicle air conditioning system, has oil reservoir filled with oil and connectable with compressor, and oil reservoir balance provided for measuring mass of compressor with oil filling
The apparatus has an oil-lubricated compressor (7) connectable to a storage tank containing refrigerant (1). A pressure-monitored temporary storage (4) is connectable to a cooling circuit (2) of a refrigerator. The refrigerant is extracted from the storage tank of the temporary storage, and is compressed by the compressor. An oil reservoir (9) is filled with oil and is connectable with the compressor. An oil reservoir balance (11) is provided for measuring the mass of the compressor with its oil filling. An independent claim is also included for a method for filling a refrigerator with a refrigerant in a motor vehicle air conditioning system.
