The device has a detection unit for identification of functioning macular regions (5) of a retina (2) of an eye (1) and not functioning macular regions (6) of the retina of the eye. A control equipment is provided controlling an optical system (30). An arriving ray of light into the eye falls on the not functioning macular region. An interface is provide for a forming device, which forms an optical element (35) to be integrated corresponding to the optical system determined by the control equipment.
