Brake component especially on disk brakes for automobiles is constructed in several sections with exchangeable brake lining which is applied to brake lining carrier which in turn is detachably connected to base support
The brake component, especially on disk brakes, is constructed in several sections with an exchangeable brake lining (3). The brake lining is applied to a brake lining carrier (2) and this in turn is detachably connected to a base support (1). The base support for the brake lining carrier has a recess (4) into which the brake lining carrier is fitted in a positive-locking or non-positive-locking manner. The brake lining carrier is formed like a plate and corresponds to the dimensions of the recess in the base support of the brake lining carrier.
