The clothes hanger (10) has a hanger body (11) curved in sections in such a manner that a convex curved surface is provided at a side of the hanger body and a concave curved surface is provided at another side of the hanger body. The convex curved surface or the concave curved surface exhibits an elliptical or oval contour. A suspension hook (12) is formed by a web (16) on the hanger body at an under side of the clothes hanger. The hanger body exhibits a surface with through-holes (17, 18) that are open to an upper side of the clothes hanger.
