Exhaust gas cleaning device for collecting particles in exhaust gas with exhaust filter arranged at outlet system of internal-combustion engine, has exhaust gas filter arranged in exhaust gas system of internal combustion engine
The exhaust gas cleaning device (10) has an exhaust gas filter (20) arranged in an exhaust gas system of an internal combustion engine (2) for collecting the exhaust gas. An estimating unit is provided for estimating the deposition amount of the particle, based on the pressure drop in the exhaust gas filter and another estimating unit estimates the deposition amount of the particle based on a temporal operating process of drop internal combustion engine. The former estimating unit determines the deposition amount of the particle based on the estimated value of the latter estimating unit. An independent claim is also included for the method of estimation for measuring the deposit quantity of particles.
